About the event

We would love you to join us for an in-person evening of secular seasonal socialising, with (slightly early) celebration of the solstice. Here's what you can expect... - A chance to chat and socialise with like-minded local humanist and non-religious folk - "Bring and Share" festive food and drinks (please bring something along!!) - Secular festive music - Midwinter festive quiz - Learn about "The Scientific Case for Christmas" Please feel free to bring anyone along who might enjoy the evening. We hope to see you there!! You can park on Redcatch Rd, or it is a very short walk from bus stops on Wells Rd We have done a full covid risk assessment. Specifically this is a building where the sides can open to permit additional ventilation. In view of current uncertainty, could you please do a lateral flow test on the day, as well as keeping a reasonable distance from others during the social. Please wear a face covering while moving around. The heater & open door will provide a through draught, including fresh air from the spaces in the decking floor. Everyone welcome, whether or not you are a member! This event is FREE to all Bristol Humanists members. We ask everyone else to make a voluntary contribution of £3/£1 to help cover our costs. Contributions can be made here https://www.bristolhumanists.com/, please use the 'Donate' button. Or pay on arrival if you are attending in person. More details here https://www.meetup.com/Bristol-Humanists/events/282252110/
